Watermelon Rose Cooler

  • 200 ml Water melon juice
  • 3 tbsp Jaggery powder
  • 1 tsp Agar-agar powder
  • 500 ml Toned milk
  • 100 ml Rose syrup
  • 100 gms Ice cubes
  • 100 gms Watermelon Cubes (seedless)

For Garnish:

  • Watermelon slices
  • Mint leaf


  1. In a bowl pour the watermelon juice and jaggery powder and heat at 100% Micro power level for 3 mins. Stirring once after every minute.
  2. Add agar-agar powder to the sweetened watermelon juice and cook for 2 mins at 100% micro powder level, till the agar-agar is completely dissolved. Stir once after every minute. Transfer into a flat dish.
  3. Refrigerate the watermelon mixture and allow it to set for 1 hour, until it turns into a jelly. Cut the set jelly into cubes and keep aside.
  4. In a separate microwave safe bowl heat the milk at 100% micro power level for 8 mins. Cool it down completely, chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Now add the rose syrup into the cold milk.

To assemble:

  • In a tall glass add the ice cubes, water melon jelly, watermelon dices and rose flavoured milk.
  • Serve chilled, garnished with a slice of water melon and mint leaf.
