Jelly Bean Cookies in Microwave

Pre heat temp: 160°C
Pre heat time: 15 mins
Cook temp: 160°C
Cook time: 12 mins
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup castor sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1-1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup small jelly beans
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 160°C.
- In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugar until blended. Beat in egg, milk and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Stir in jelly beans.
- Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 1-1/2 inches apart onto greased or parchment-lined baking sheets.
- Bake 12 minutes or until edges are light golden.
- Let the cookies cool completely before filling them in a jar.
