Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cooked and mashed potatoes
  • 1/4 cup grated paneer
  • 1 tbsp plain flour
  • 1 tsp finely chopped green chilies
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2tbsp chopped cashew nuts
  • 2 tbsp chopped raisins
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp tomato puree
  • 1 tsp corn flour
  • A pinch of sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

To be ground to a smooth paste:

  • 1 tbsp freshly grated coconut
  • 2 tbsp roughly chopped onions
  • 2 whole dry red chilies
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp chopped coriander
  • 1 tbsp cashew nuts
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp fresh cream
  • 1/2 tbsp grated processed cheese

Preparation:

  1. Combine the potatoes, paneer, plain flour, coriander, chilies, milk and salt in a bowl and mix well to form a soft dough.
  2. Divide the dough into 10 equal sized portions and keep aside. In 1 portion of the dough stuff 1⁄2 a cashew nut and 1 raisin and shape it into a small ball.
  3. Repeat for the remaining 9 portions. Place them on a magic tawa and cook for 1 min on 100% micro power level. Keep aside.
  4. Combine the oil, prepared paste, tomato puree, corn flour-milk mixture, sugar and 1⁄2 cup of water in a microwave safe bowl and cook on 100% micro power level for 3 mins.
  5. Add the koftas and continue on 100% micro power level for 1 min.
  6. Serve hot garnished with grated cheese.
