Lebanese 7 Spice Prawns Seekh

Ingredients:
- 15 pieces king sized prawns, chopped
- ¼ cup onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- ½ lemon juice
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp ground coriander
- ¼ cup potato, cooked and mashed
- 1 nos egg
- Salt to taste
- Melted butter, for greasing
- 12 nos wooden shaslik sticks
For Lebanese Spice Mix:
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground cardamom
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
Accompaniment:
Mint Mayonnaise
Preparation:
- Pre heat the oven at 190°C.
- In a mixing bowl combine the chopped prawns, mashed potatoes, chopped onion, olive oil, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam Masala, Lebanese spice mix, salt and egg.
- Mix thoroughly till well combined and keep aside for 30 mins.
- Soak wooden popsicle sticks in water for 30 mins.
- Spread some portion of the prepared mixture around the popsicle stick and press firmly and prepare the remaining in a similar way.
- Place the prawn seekhs on the tray. Bake on 190°C for 15 mins (baste with melted butter after every 5 mins)
- Serve hot with mint mayonnaise.
