Baked Jack fruit Fries

Baked Jack fruit Fries
Program: Convection
Cook Temp: 180°C
Cook Time: 15 mins
Ingredients:
- 2 cup Ripped Jackfruit rags
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
Accompaniment:
Tomato sauce
Preparation:
- Pre heat the oven at 180°
- Clean the jack fruit rags remove the seed and discard.
- Thinly shred the clean jack fruit rag into long thick strands.
- In a bowl add rice flour, chili powder, salt and add the shredded jackfruit, combine and coat well.
- Allow the jackfruit to rest for 10 mins. After resting it will leave some water making the mixture sticky.
- Lined baking plate with butter paper and arrange the jackfruit strands on it.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 15 mins or until crisp.
- Stir or turn the jack fruit fries twice after 5 mins.
- Serve hot crispy jackfruit with tomato sauce.
