Dabeli in Microwave

Ingredients:
For Dabeli Mixture:
- 2 tbsp tamarind chutney
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 mid sized potato (boiled & mashed)
- 2 tbsp sapota pulp
- 1 tbsp fresh coconut (grated)
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp coriander (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp sev
- 2 tbsp pomegranate
- 2 tbsp spiced peanut
- 3 tbsp for dabeli masala powder
For serving:
- 5 pav
- 5 tsp green chutney
- 5 tsp tamarind chutney
- 5 tsp onion (finely chopped)
- Butter (for toasting)
Preparation:
For Filling:
- In a large microwave safe glass bowl add oil
- Now take 3 tsp of dabeli masala into a small cup, along with 2 tbsp tamarind chutney and ¼ cup water
- Mix well making sure there are no lumps. Pour in the masala mixture into oil cook for 4 minutes at 100% micro power level. Further, add 3 potato, sapota pulp, ½ tsp salt and mix well. Mash and mix well combined with 1 tbsp coconut, 1 tbsp coriander heat at 100% micro power level for 4 min
- Once cooled add 2 tbsp sev, 2 tbsp pomegranate and 2 tbsp spiced peanut in the dabeli mixture
Assembling dabeli:
- Firstly, slit the pav in the centre and spread 1 tsp green chutney on one side of pav and 1 tsp of tamarind chutney on another side. Add 1 tsp of onion and dabeli mixture inside pav. Pre heat oven on convection mode at 180⁰C. Now apply butter on pav. Toast the pav for 10 mins with butter making sure it’s turned after 5 mins and turn slightly golden brown on both sides
- Finally, roll dabeli into sev and pomegranate, serve immediately
