Creamy Mushroom Tarlets in Microwave

Creamy Mushroom Tartlets


Program: Cookies

Pre heat temp: 190°C

Pre heat time: 10 mins           

Cook temp: 190°C

Cook time: 20 mins



  • 1 packet puff pastry sheet

For filling:

  • 50 gms mushrooms
  • 50 gms baked beans (no juice)
  • 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1tbsp sweet onion sauce
  • 3 tbsp chopped tomatoes
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 mid size onion thinly, sliced
  • 50 gms grated mozzarella cheese
  • Salt & black pepper powder, to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 lemon juice



For Egg Wash:

  • 1 egg + 50 ml of water




  1. Select the program & reheat the oven at 190°C
  2. In a glass bowl mix all ingredients for the filling
  3. Cut the ready puff pastry sheets into squares with dimension of 9cm x 9cm, place 1 tsp of filling on puff pastry on center of one square piece, brush the edges on sides with egg wash. Now gently lift the puff sheet and place it in a greased muffin mold
  4. Apply generous egg wash on edge of each puff.  Now sprinkle a hand full of water over the puffs and the baking tray
  5. Gently place the baking tray with puffs in the oven on 3rd rack positioning in the pre heated oven
  6. Bake for 20 mins until the puffs are risen & crisp. Serve hot
