Ingredients

  • 4 ears of fresh corn on the cob
  • Enough water to cover the bottom of the steamer pot
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter (optional, for serving)
  • Black pepper (optional, for serving)

Method

  • Peel away the husks and remove the silk from each ear of corn. Rinse the corn under cold water to remove any remaining silk.
  • Place a steam rack on the glass tray inside the oven on low rack position.
  • Arrange the corn on the cob in the steamer rack.
  • Select Steam function with S3 mode.
  • Steam the corn for about 10 minutes, or until the kernels are tender when pierced with a fork.
  • Once steamed, carefully remove the corn from the steamer.
  • Season with salt to taste.
  • Optionally, serve the steamed corn with butter and black pepper for added flavor.
