Crispy Karela turns bitter gourd into a delightful culinary surprise. Thinly sliced karela is tawa fried until golden and ready to cool. A light mixture of spices like turmeric, red chilli powder, pepper powder, and chaat masala sprinkled on top adds a burst of flavour. Ingredients

  • 2 Karela                        
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder        
  • 1 tsp Turmeric (Haldi)       
  • 2 tsp Chaat Masala                
  • Oil

Method

  • Cut the karela into roundelles and soak them in salt water for 10 minutes. Drain them, heat the magic tawa on OFC H1 and place the karela. Drizzle a little oil and cook it for 12-14 minutes.
  • When they are crispy, remove them and allow them to cool. Sprinkle all the masalas and give it a nice mix.
  • Serve it along with some curd.
