Lemon Herb Fish is a refined take on everyday cooking, where simplicity meets flavour. The fish is seasoned lightly and steamed to perfection, preserving its natural taste and tenderness. Ingredients

  • Whole Fish
  • Lemon: 1, thinly sliced
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Fresh herbs: 1/4 cup (such as parsley, dill, and thyme), chopped
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  • White wine: 1/4 cup (optional)
  • Salt: to taste
  • Black pepper: to taste

Method

  • Wash the fish and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Make slits on the skin and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  • Select the program and pre heat the oven by using steam function and setting S1 mode for 2 mins.
  • Place the fish on the steamer rack and drizzle 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil over it.
  • Sprinkle the minced garlic and chopped fresh herbs evenly over the fish. Now lay lemon slices on top of it.
  • If using, drizzle a little white wine over the fish for added flavor.
  • Steam the fish for 25 mins on Steam S1 mode.
  • Transfer the steamed lemon herb fish to serving plates.
  • Serve immediately, optionally garnished with additional fresh herbs and lemon wedges.
