During the contract period, defects if any in the appliances shall be rectified by the company or by its authorized service franchisees, either by new parts or by reconditioned parts, solely at the discretion of the company. |

Defective part/s removed from the machine during the contract period is/are the property of the company and to be handed over to the company's representative. |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Such repairs shall be carried on either at customer's residence or at the Company/Service Franchisee's Service Centre in which case any transportation and incidental expenses if any, are to be borne by the customer. |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
This contract is offered to the customers who are residing within Municipal limits of city/town of Company/Franchisee Service Centers. |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
This contract is not terminable before expiry period, nor transferable to any other person in the event of sale/gift of the machine. |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
The offer and renewal of this contract is at the sole discretion of IFB Industries Limited. IFB Industries Limited reserves the right of refusal for accepting a product / model under AMC. |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
This maintenance contract shall be offered only to appliances having no defects at the time of entering into contract. |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Validity of the contract will commence from the date, payment is realized by IFB Industries Limited. The contract fee is payable in advance along with the contract from duly filled in. |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
This contract sets out all terms and conditions on which IFB Industries Limited will service the Washing Machine/Microwave Ovens/Dishwasher/Cloth Dryer under this contract and cancels and supersedes all prior agreements undertakings or arrangements, oral or written between the parties on the subject matter. |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Incase of Any dispute, this contract is subject to jurisdiction of Kolkata courts only. |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Defects due to negligence/misuse/alternations/accidents/substitution of original components and riots, fire, flood, earthquake and other acts of God are not covered under this contract. Such repairs shall be done on chargeable basis as per the prevailing rates. |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Incase a customer availing the contract moves to another location, intimation of such movement should be made in writing along with a contract movement charge of Rs. 150/- to the IFB Industries Branch from where the contract was availed. Continuation of the contract at the next location will be subject to availability of service centers at such location and will exclude any transit damages to the appliances. |

|
|

|
Damages arising out of shifting the appliance from one place to another by the customer are not covered under this contract. |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
This contract is comprehensive in nature and it includes labour and all components (not accessories & consumable). However the following components are excluded. |

|
Aesthetic materials |
|
Rubber material/Plastic parts. |
|
Descalling of Machine |

|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
The AMC is not valid in case the product is used for commercial purpose or at places like institute, hostels, community halls, and other similar applications. In this regard, the decision of the company (IFB Industries Limited) would be final and binding on the beneficiary of this AMC. Also the balance amount of AMC, if any, will stand forfeited in such cases. |
